I served this drink as an aperitif at my dads birthday party and we liked it alot.
For 8 wine glasses: 1 organic orange 3 grapefruits 75g sugar 100ml Campari 200ml Bitter Lemon 500ml sparkling wine/champagne fresh mint leavesGrate the zest of half of the orange, mix with the sugar and leave to dry for a few hours.
Press out the orange and grapefruit juice into a bowl. Dip the glasses into the juice and into the orange-sugar.
For the cocktail mix the rest of the fruit juice, Campari, Bitter Lemon and champagne in a bowl.
Place two leaves of fresh mint and some of the orange sugar into each glass and fill with the cocktail. Serve with some ice cubes.
