Potato Gratin

 
For 1 large casserole dish:
1kg potatoes
250ml single cream
50ml milk
50ml chicken stock
2 eggs
some grated parmesan
grated Gouda (Cheddar) cheese
salt, pepper, nutmeg
 

Preheat the oven for 180°C.

Peel the potatoes and cut into very thin slices. Place into a casserole dish and sprinkle some cheese in between the layers.

Whisk together cream, milk, stock and eggs, season, and pour over the casserole dish.

Grate some parmesan on top and finish of with as much grated cheese as you like.

Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes or until golden brown.
